After seeing Laura's (award winning) designs in the Hamilton Spectator, Katlyn Pellizzari wanted an excuse to work with Laura. That opportunity came when Katlyn decided to make matching necklaces for herself and for her two sisters as bridesmaids gifts.

Using three diamonds from her mother's 10th anniversary wedding ring, Laura and Katlyn worked together to incorporate Katlyn's wishes for a celtic symbol (to honor their Irish descent) into a piece that was "feminine, organic, and delicate". Katlyn wanted an original design because "being able to capture the sentiment of the gemstones wouldn't have been possible if these pieces weren't custom made". Moreover, she wanted to "be able to blend many different elements that reflected our personalities and the bond that my sisters and I have".

When Katlyn saw the necklaces for the first time, she "couldn't believe how perfect each necklace was. The quality was excellent and the design perfectly captured the story we wanted to tell". Her sisters were very touched by the thoughtfulness that went into their gift, and they wear their necklaces every day.

Katlyn says of her experience: "Laura has this incredible ability to translate your ideas into a piece that you didn't even realize could exist. I can't say enough about her service and how easy she makes the process of designing an original piece. She is so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. If you have a story you want to tell with your original piece, there is no one better than Laura to help you do it"
